Diet is one’s form of choosing how to eat. When I travel to foreign countries there are three things, I always make sure I do.

  1. Make sure the Hotel and/or area you will be staying at has options for healthy eating. If the restaurants don’t offer good quality food, then they don’t deserve your money.
  2. Never let yourself get hungry. By always keeping a snack with me keeps from making mistakes when ordering out.
  3. Enjoy your meal! The whole point of traveling is to experience new flavors from different cultures. Look for the typical dishes and work yourself around that dish to balance a healthy meal.
